Premiers Project Manager(Mark Ferznollo) for Seel House had this to say about the project:

Seel House represents a challenge to any specialist contractor,at nearly 180 years old this building is both old and an integral part of a designated World Heritage Site.

Throughout its working life Seel House has been home to a wide variety of interesting buisnesses. Its use as a ropemaking factory is well documented, in fact it is RUMOURED that the ropes for the Titanic may have been made here or in very close proximity. Unlike the Titanic, Seel House has stood for many many years. Today it is undergoing a complete refurbishment and by December 2009 will give  Liverpool a building worthy of its World Heritage surroundings. Base2stay is working together with B/H to create a new concept 110 bed hotel, completely contempory and modern -internally the building will be transformed by their bold vision. The single most important factor of this project is maintaining the original facades of this historic building. Premier Brickwork have been awarded this contract because of their proven track record with B/H and a reputation for producing quality projects throughout the country. Premier's Mark Ferrznolo is working closely with Mr Peter Hoey , the Chief Conservation Officer with Liverpool City Council ; to firstly establish the history of the original materials used in the building of Seel House, and accordingly In depth research has resulted in the procurement of the correct materials to recreate the look that all parties are satisfied with.

Peter Hoey has quoted that restoration work taking place  at Seel House is to be the benchmark for all other refurbishment projects in this Heritage Area.

Premier are working hard to turn this quote into reality .
